The gift of celebration.
Whether you’re popping the cork for a festive feast, celebrating New Year, or simply enjoying a long-anticipated get-together with friends or family, Pierre Jourdan’s four special-edition Cap Classiques will add extra sparkle to any occasion.
Gifts that keep giving
Haute Cabrière was founded in Franschhoek in 1982 by Achim von Arnim, whose first wine was Pierre Jourdan Brut Cap Classique (named after the French Huguenot who established this farm in 1694). Achim was one of the very first Cellar Masters in South Africa to make a Cap Classique in the classic French style – so if you’re drinking this brut, you’re drinking history! It’s also available in a showstopper magnum size for big celebrations.
Pierre Jourdan’s Blanc de Blancs, a 100% chardonnay Cap Classique, is a true labour of love by second-generation cellar master Takuan von Arnim (Achim’s son), taking five years to mature. The result is a wine with a fine mousse and fresh citrus notes with hints of oak.
The Pierre Jourdan Belle Rosé Cap Classique, in its romantic pink packaging, is a tribute to pinot noir, with hints of strawberries and cream and red fruit. For those with a sweeter palate, there’s the newest member of the family, Pierre Jourdan Belle Nectar Demi-Sec (also pinot noir).
The special-edition packs are only available for online purchases of cases of six or at the cellar door in Franschhoek.
