Gracing the pages of Vogue, the shelves of MOMA New York, and now Harrington Street, Cape Town, this locally made jewellery has taken the world by storm.
Undoubtedly one of the most recognised jewellery brands in South Africa, Pichulik was founded in 2013 by Katherine-Mary Pichulik. Distinguishable by its innovative and sculptural use of rope, combined with unique cast-brass elements and precious stones, each piece of jewellery is handcrafted by a team of local women using ethically sourced and sustainable materials.
The designs, inspired by African mythology and feminine symbolism, are irrefutably gorgeous and impossible to ignore. So we were thrilled to hear about its dedicated retail space in The East City.
Pichulik on Harrington
Gracing the pages of Vogue, the ears of Meghan Markle, the shelves of MOMA New York, and now Harrington Street, this locally made jewellery has taken the world by storm. Its recently opened Atelier is a beautifully designed retail housed in a charming heritage building in the heart of The East City (directly above New York Bagels).
Raw wood, brass, indoor plants and a selection of vintage books and ceramics set the scene for a sumptuous shopping experience; the show stopper, of course, is the treasure trove of unique, handcrafted jewellery.
Last Thursdays at Pichulik
On the last Thursday of each month, Pichulik and Seed & Circus invite you for an inspired browse. Dip into the exquisite selection of jewellery and accessories while sipping on a refreshingly cool glass of Seed & Circus’ hibiscus iced tea.
