Graduated from Hurst Campus (The Culinary Academy) in 2010. Following stints at Delaire Graff (under Christiaan Campbell), Makaron Restaurant at Majeka House, Haute Cabrière, Equus at Cavalli and Cuvée at Simonsig, became head chef at Bodega Restaurant at Dornier Wines in 2016. Appointed executive chef at Tokara Restaurant in 2018.

For a special occasion Makaron Restaurant [at Majeka House]. The food concept is really special and they have a great winelist. The intimate and modern space is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
For a guilty pleasure De Vrije Burger
For a Winelands experience Overture. Great view, great winelist and great food.
For authentic cuisine Genki. I would eat there every week! Best Japanese tapas, and I just love the whole feel of the place.
Best new restaurant Janse & Co
Best “oldie but goodie” Decameron. Food is always so good. Great place to spend time with good friends.
The best restaurant overall Wolfgat. Such attention to detail. Perfect view and a unique experience every time!
