Asoka Dinner Special: R295 for 3 Courses

A revamped Victorian house with a lavish dollop of eastern promise, Asoka is an atmospheric bar and restaurant built around a legendary 150-year-old, fairy-lit olive tree on Kloof Street. On  Mondays, the three-course dinner special is not to be missed! Pick one dish from each section of Chef Johan van Schalkwyk shortened menu (choose a different one each and share!). Asian ostrich tartare, unagi-glazed hake tempura, beef tacos, wild mushroom and gorgonzola arancini, grilled tikka chicken skewer and crispy pork belly are just some of the tongue-tingling dishes.
And if you still have space, three divine desserts (malva pudding, salted-caramel cheesecake, chocolate fondant) are available to add-on.
