Tapas at Bistro Sixteen82 on Steenberg Farm is a Cape Town must-do. In the heart of the Constantia Wine Valley, the contemporary eatery’s terraced dining area spills into an indigenous garden, surrounded by rolling vineyards and mesmerising mountain vistas. Chef Kerry Kilpin’s love of bold flavours and her knack for plate-licking sauces come out strong in the alluring winter tapas menu. While her selection of five dishes changes daily, it might include show-stoppers such as arancini with parsnip and roast onion; pickled fish tacos with avo and coriander mousse; pork ribs with sticky ginger and soy; beef pot stickers with red cabbage and mangetout salsa; or wasabi dusted calamari.
