Camissa Farm: Pay 2, Stay 3 at Stylish Cabins in Stellenbosch
Hot tubs, vineyard walks and wine-tasting in the beautiful Banhoek Valley.
By Inside Guide • 15 May 2026
Where Stellenbosch
The experience This hilltop regenerative farm has magnificent mountain views, rows of vineyards and orchards, and is home to free-roaming Dexter cattle, sheep and chickens. As a guest, your temporary home will be one of the modern-rustic pared-back cabins on stilts, perched on the edge of a peaceful dam. For more seclusion, there’s a romantic cabin set apart from the others on a rocky outcrop with a double-level deck. They’re all off-grid, decorated with flair and have phenomenal views – best admired from their hot tubs. The farm’s hiking and biking trails have recently been spruced up for the Cape Epic, or if you prefer more relaxed pursuits, there’s in-cabin spa treatments, an infrared sauna and outdoor yoga deck – plus the Banhoek Valley’s notable wine estates are nearby, some just a walk away.
The winter special Pay for two nights, stay for three, with a complimentary bottle of limited-edition The Menagerie Syrah and wood for your first hot-tub session.
The lodgings Three one-bedroom cabins (Almond, Avocado and Rosemary), three-bedroom Camissa Cabin, two-bedroom The Bed in the Shed loft apartment, and one-bedroom Agama Cabin. All are self-catering, have an indoor fireplace, a furnished deck, a wood-fired hot tub and braai area/firepit.
