Cavalli Winter Special: R590 for 2 courses

Floor-to-ceiling windows giving views over a dam and sculpture-studded fynbos gardens to the Stellenbosch mountains make Cavalli a wonderful destination at which to enjoy an à la carte winter meal. The terrace is the place to be on a sunny day, or ask for a table by fire on a chilly evening, as you choose from chef Lucas Carstens’ seasonally driven menu. His signature style is uncompromisingly “green”, featuring produce foraged from the estate’s gardens and sourced from local farms to create perfection on a plate. Picture cured langoustine with butternut and thyme; sunchoke with black garlic and ginger; wagyu brisket with carrot and horseradish; or risotto verde with burrata and lemon, among other deliciously fresh flavours. Snacks and a bread course precede your meal.
