Down a long winding road on the Constantia slopes of Table Mountain, The Cellars Hohenort Hotel has a timeless country house feel, with classically elegant interiors surrounded by beautiful gardens and stately camphor trees. It’s a cosy refuge for a winter evening spoil, and the winter special menu majors on warming flavours. Think slow-roasted butternut ravioli, free-range beef short rib, grilled linefish with mussels, braised cabbage and lemongrass velouté. Add Cape brandy pudding with ginger ice cream, or a baked passionfruit curd, to round off the evening in sweet style.
