After 10 years at the helm of this perennially buzzed-about restaurant (which he co-owns with Liam Tomlin), Ivor is still innovating, and his mastery of flavour is impossible to beat! Every bite is an adventure of taste and texture mingling the fresh aromatic flavours of Southeast Asia with a liberal seasoning of South African nostalgia. The winter weekday set-menu lunch takes you from torched linefish sashimi with spiced coconut and turmeric sambal, through coal-seared beef saam with naam tok, and Thai roast chicken with pandan sticky rice, with equally delicious alternate choices (choose one each and share!). With chic interiors, stunning views and world-class wines, this is a lunch worthy of a special winter occasion.
