Winter is the time to enjoy the crisp air and fabulous cloudscapes at Ernie Els Wines, whose panoramic perch high on the slopes of the Helderberg mountains looks out on vine-drenched views towards Table Mountain, False Bay and Stellenbosch. For winter, chef Eric Bulpitt has elevated a seasonal favourite on the Grillworks lunchtime menu: The Big Easy Burger! A succulent 250g beef patty, served on a warm brioche bun, with crispy caramelised onions and creamy coriander-infused mayo, comes with a side of crunchy triple-cooked chips. Even better, it’s paired with a glass of wine from the Big Easy range, all part of the winter special deal.
