Hacienda Winter Special: R345 for 5 Dishes

Ever since it opened in 2022, Hacienda has quite literally turned up the heat on the Bree Street strip with its gaucho-chic interiors (leather booths, mosaic floors, ceramic drinkware) and spice-flecked food and drinks. Inspired by the cuisine of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, the menu is made for sharing.
And the winter set-menu special is no different. On it you’ll find the mole Hacienda, taquitos con carne (dry-aged especiado beef paired with corn purée, jalapeño aioli and pineapple crudo), dicha de barbacao (sous vide chicken thigh glazed in barbeque sauce, topped with crispy garlic and pistachio), oaxaca adobo rice (with salsa verde, queso fresco, árbol red onion, and burnt pineapple) and churros (with coffee namelaka, spiced dulce de leche, passionfruit, and chilli chocolate ice cream). Too good to miss.
