Housed in the original cellar of the 1812 Manor House, The Werf eatery opens onto an oak-shaded patio overlooking orchards, vineyards and the mountains beyond. Chef Allistair Lawrence’s shared-plates menu reflects the farm’s deep roots, while featuring delightful 21st-century quirks and delivering a soil-to-fork experience. Be it the vegetables and herbs on the plate (picked from the food garden), estate-reared Black Angus beef, or pasta made with eggs from happy hens – provenance is everything. The lazy Sunday Lunch menu is ideal for families and friends who love lingering over great food and wine.
