Rhebokskloof Wine Tasting

Surrounded by an amphitheatre of mountain scenery on the northern slopes of Paarl’s iconic peaks, Rhebokskloof Wine Estate offers wonderful views. With rolling lawns, sparkling lakes, 100-year-old oaks and the scent of jasmine and lavender wafting through the air, Rhebokskloof is loved equally for its country setting and warm hospitality, with a range of family- (and pet-) friendly attractions.

This winter, there’s an added cherry on the top, in the form of a collaboration with Huguenot Fine Chocolates.

Rhebokskloof Choc And Wine Tasting

Rhebokskloof has worked with master chocolatiers to offer Belgian chocolate infused with notes that sing with the estate’s wines – and only available at this tasting. The hand-crafted truffles look like exotic gems on the tasting board, and feature intriguing flavours.

The tasting consists of five delicious combinations:

  • Flatrock Sparkle, a fruity bubbly, paired with white chocolate and nectarine
  • Rhebokskloof Chardonnay, a crisp citrusy-fynbos wine, paired with white chocolate and bergamot
  • Flatrock Red, bright, plush and fruity, paired with dark chocolate and blackcurrant
  • Rhebokskloof Pinotage, sweet-spicy and silky, paired with dark and white chocolate, black pepper and plum
  • Rhebokskloof Shiraz, the berry-spicy award-winner, paired with dark chocolate, cinnamon, white pepper and raspberry.
