Tuk Tuk Franschhoek: Wine-Hop the Winelands in Style

If, like us, you love the odd awayday to Franschhoek, you’ll be as delighted as we were to discover this easy, convenient (and affordable) way to get around the valley. Because, let’s be frank, nobody wants to get behind a wheel when there are wine farms to visit, nectars to sample, gourmet restaurants to eat at, and picnics to be devoured. Each Tuk Tuk can accommodate a maximum of four people, and can be booked for anytime of day.

At the end of a winederful day, arrange to have your tuk-tuk take you from your Franschhoek accommodation to a restaurant and back from R30 per trip (this is only available within the Franschhoek CBD).

Good to know

• You can custom-create your own tour through the winelands on either the half-day or full-day tours, which travel between La Motte and La Petite Ferme. A few of the most popular stops include Deux Lions, Stony Brook, Mont Rochelle, Holden Manz, Backsberg, and Chamonix.
• Tuk Tuk Franschhoek also offer airport and Cape Town transfers in their minibus (with a maximum of 8 seats) from R1500 per vehicle per trip. Larger group transfers are available on request.
• In Winter please bring along a jacket to keep you as warm as possible in transit.
• No infants or toddlers permitted in transit.

Please note Should unexpected heavy rains fall, a vehicle will be made available for your tour and your Tuk Tuk experience will continue as soon as is possible.
