Together with head chef Guillermo Salazar, he explores the sustainable seafood of the Cape in an immersive marine-dining experience rooted in Spanish culinary tradition, and brought vividly to life with South African ingredients and flair.

Amura’s exciting menu celebrates everything from delicate plankton and halophyte plants to humble by-catch fish, all elevated through fire-cooking, fermentation and spice. Think umami flavour bombs such as prawn toast, yellowtail sashimi and squid-ink risotto, sublime oysters, and beautifully fresh yellowtail with a green escabeche sauce. The à la carte menu encourages you to explore the ocean waves at your own pace… and a multi-course tasting menu will be added in the new year.

The winner’s name will be drawn on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, and the prize is redeemable from 3 February 2026 until 1 February 2027 (subject to availability and excluding certain peak season dates). The total prize is valued at R40 000, and includes a one night stay for two and a special dinner at Amura with welcome drinks, starters, mains, dessert and a bottle of wine for the table.
