Last year they blew Cape Town out the water with their Grand Moon Party featuring Monolink, and this year Music People returns on 7 March for the first Grand Moon instalment of 2020 – featuring none other than international techno sensation, Jan Blomqvist.
Groove into the moonlight at another unforgettable gathering of music lovers and party people, hosted at the iconic Grand Africa Café & Beach which, thanks to its sea-scraping location, offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Table Bay. Jan Blomqvist’s infectious melodies and sloping sound, supported by female phenomenons Duchess and Elif, will set the scene for a perfect evening of living in the moment.
With three international techno maestros performing alongside top local acts from around SA, you’re sure to be kept on your toes the whole evening:
- Jan Blomqvist Berlin-based singer, songwriter and techno sensation, Blomqvist combines dreamy vocals with seamless beats for the ultimate live experience – so this is a must-see performance!
- Elif Hailing from Istanbul, this musical storyteller brings a unique blend of synthesised organic sounds.
- Duchess Born in Iceland but based in Los Angeles, Duchess has quickly created a name for herself in the techno and deep-house scenes.
Other performers include Frank Osorio from Barcelona, Tomorrows Will, Sara Love and SNRJNR.
Calling all electronic music fans, see you on the beach!
