Rest and Reset wellness retreat

The guided retreat is thoughtfully paced over four days with plenty of time and space to slow down, relax and soak up the glorious scenery. The programme combines yoga, meditation, conscious breathwork and sound healing, as well as nature walks, wellness workshops and restorative spa time. And you’ll have plenty of time to cocoon with a book, luxuriate in the peace and quiet, and explore at your own pace too.

A luxury stay

Three nights of luxury accommodation give you ample time to relax deeply in these tranquil surroundings. The original Cape Dutch manor house and farm buildings that make up Steenberg’s boutique hotel (which recently received one of South Africa’s inaugural Michelin Key awards) are arranged around a grassy central werf shaded by mature oak trees. The luxury spa is hidden away in the gardens nearby, and the estate’s two restaurants, swimming pool, golf, wine-tasting and hiking trails are right on your doorstep.

Spa downtime

The intimate spa has five serene treatment rooms and two dreamy outdoor treatment areas in the gardens. There’s an outdoor thermal suite too, with a sauna, Nordic ice-bucket shower, ice bath and heated vitality pool. A detoxifying massage treatment is included in the retreat package, and there is time to book additional treatments should you wish. Or simply make the most of the thermal suite, swimming pool and Pool House relaxation area for revitalising interludes during your stay.
