Woodstock Winter Beer Festival

There’s something about Woodstock and festivals… And this particular beer fest has fun written all over it. With some of the best brewers in the country showcasing their wares, there is bound to be an ale, lager, pilsner or cider to suit your palate. Participating breweries include Riot Beer, Drifter Brewing Company, Woodstock Brewery, Afro Caribbean Brewing Co and Hoghouse.

Eat, drink and be merry 

It goes without saying that you should arrive thirsty, because you’ll want to taste all the different beers in all their glory. And we recommend that you come hungry too, as there’ll be food stalls – some of our favourites include The NOB and Tailgate Foods – selling delicious grub to line your stomachs. Live music by Six Strings Down, Well Done Sun, and more, will add to the festive vibe and, did we mention that the following day is a Sunday? So you can let loose (a bit more than usual). 

For a good cause 

This year the festival is lending a helping hand to the Woodstock community, and asking festival goers to donate unwanted clothes, shoes and blankets in good condition, as well as nonperishable foods. The collected items will then be donated to Neighbourhood Old Age Homes (NOAH). Monetary donations can also be made when purchasing your ticket, or bring the extra cash and give a little while you’re there.
