About your flight
All helicopter flights take off from one of the 14 helipads at Cape Town Helicopters’ base Hangar at the V&A Heliport on the East Pier at the V&A Waterfront. You’ll be equipped with top-of-the-range, noise-cancelling BOSE aviation-grade headsets, allowing you to chat to the pilot and get the low-down on all the city attractions and natural highlights while you fly.
Eco-friendly helicopters
What makes Cape Town Helicopters’ flights stand out (besides its professional approach and friendly, well-informed pilots), is its fleet of modern, very comfortable, Airbus helicopters. This is jet-setting executive transport, air-conditioned, and as quiet as a helicopter gets. The Airbus H120 and H130 have special fenestron tail rotors that are much less noisy (under 60 decibels) and are some of the few machines permitted to fly over eco-sensitive areas – no scaring the wildlife (or hikers) when you fly around Table Mountain.
