Librisa Spa at the Mount Nelson

A veritable oasis at the foot of Table Mountain, this historic hotel has an overriding atmosphere of grace and glamour. It’s no surprise it’s also home to one of Cape Town’s most beloved spas. Hidden beyond the palm trees, two Victorian houses have been converted into a beautifully decorated, luxury haven. Librisa Spa is currently undergoing a makeover, with a temporary relocation of treatment rooms to Mount Nelson’s Taunton House, and we can’t wait to see it; all will be revealed in October.

Leeu Spa

An immaculately imagined property on a 100-hectare wine farm just outside Franschhoek, Leeu Estates is devoted to all the finer things in life. A sense of wellbeing and harmony pervades, including at the spa with its picture-perfect views. The spa is currently undergoing “an exciting transformation” and will reopen on 1 August.
