One of the best ways to experience the Cape, the annual Kirstenbosch Concerts are back. And the lineup, although late to be announced, is nothing short of spectacular. Freshlyground, Matthew Mole, Mi Casa, Soul II Soul, and much more.
As usual, the magnificent gardens provide the backdrop for these open-air concerts – the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

There should be concerts planned for the rest of December and January.

How long do they want to wait?
For a NYE concert it is very late. On some platforms there are tickets offered with no line up and expensive prices, looks like a fake.

Whoever is in charge of the Sunset Concerts, should be fired or resign. I’m sorry to be so blunt..
But this is just not on… The Line-Up is late… All the local artists are all probably booked already , otherwise why the wait.
The list below gives us Goo Goo Dolls which was sold out, but the Lead Singer is sick and now its postponed..
Where is MiCasa, Sun El, Goldfish, Neon Dreams, The Parlotones are also back etc… they slept on this for too long…
We received an email yesterday from Kirstenbosch Saying “Its Finally Here” with nothing else other than Cradle to Cape!!!
Where’s the Christmas Carols, which is normally around the 16th, New Year’s Concert etc…
I’m sorry but this is just unacceptable. If they didn’t want concerts to be held there, they should just have sent an Announcement.

First off, congratulations for the success of the Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts. The frustrations I see in some of the comments convey, to me, the eagerness of the fans to attend this experience. Since there is difficulty in filling up the line-up, and the Goo Goo Dolls concert sold out so quickly, is there any possibility of adding additional dates for Goo Goo Dolls? I understand they are doing a couple of concerts in South Africa, so maybe there is a possibility of them returning to Capetown for a second show. Just a suggestion.
