In the light of the pandemic SANBI has decided to postpone this summer’s concerts.
Due to Covid-19 regulations, Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts will not be going ahead this season. Craig Allenby, SANBI’s Director of Marketing and Commercialisation, says the “uncertainty around the regulations going forward over the coming months make it impossible for us to plan a concert series.” He adds that “visitor safety is our top priority and under the circumstances, our concert model of large visitor numbers and affordable ticket prices will not be sensible in the near future.”
These outdoor concerts, which started 28 years ago, will hopefully return once the pandemic is under control. Kirstenbosch is still open for walks, picnics, shopping, high tea, and more.
Please note If you purchased tickets for last season’s Kirstenbosch Concerts that were to be rescheduled this summer, Webtickets will refund you.
