David Kramer
The playwright, director and songwriter, 62, on living in Cape Town, money and pastimes.

The thing I love most about living in Cape Town is the mountain, beaches, vineyards, theatre. It’s a vibrant cosmopolitan city.
When out-of-towners come to town, I take them up Lion’s Head when it’s full moon.
When I want to listen to live music in Cape Town I go to the Mahogany Room in Buitenkant Street or Alma Café in Rosebank.
A typical Sunday morning is like any other morning for me… I write in the mornings.
The best book I read last year was The Last Train to Zona Verde by Paul Theroux.
My favourite TV series is Grand Designs (on BBC Lifestyle and BBC Entertainment).
Straight after this, I’m going for a walk on the beach.
One day I’ll paraglide off Signal Hill.
Money is something I try not to think about it.
David Kramer’s Blood Brothers is currently on at the Fugard Theatre.
