Mont Reve: Living the Seaside Dream in Buzzy Sea Point
Luxury apartment living in Cape Town’s cosmopolitan coastal suburb.
By Inside Guide • March 18, 2025
The Sea Point lifestyle is an enviable one. Between the famous 11km oceanside promenade and Lion’s Head is a cosmopolitan cluster of some of Cape Town’s coolest restaurants, bars and cafés, taking you from sunrise to long after sunset on a wave of urban energy. Regent Road is undoubtedly the focal point of the action, and the luxurious Mont Reve building is going up right at its heart.

Sea Point is very much a walkable neighbourhood. With everything you need on your doorstep, as well as awe-inspiring views towards either ocean or the mountain, it’s a dream for a permanent home, a lock-up-and-go base, or as a high-return property investment.
The height of sophistication

Mont Reve is a new development from Berman Brothers Group, the company behind some of the Atlantic Seaboard’s most sought-after addresses, such as Dolce Vita and Station House. They’ve worked with award-winning architects and interior designers Robert Silke & Partners and R+N Master Builders for the very best in design and craftsmanship at the ultra-luxury level.

Designed as a mixed-use building to suit the urban setting, Mont Reve includes 54 apartments (from one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments to expansive penthouses and residences) over six floors, three swimming pools, and a reception area. Some of the hottest property in Sea Point is parking (ask any local), so the three floors of underground parking that allow for several designated parking bays per apartment (allocated according to property size) is a huge plus point (additional parking bays are also available to purchase if needed).

At street level, the retail space will feature boutique shopping and dining, to add to the established hub of cool eateries along Regent Road (NV-80 Grill and Bar, The Nines, Jarryd’s, Kleinsky’s, Mojo Market and many more). We’re happy to see that New York Bagels will be returning to Sea Point to reclaim its original spot here.
Design for living

Indoor-outdoor flow is at the heart of these stylish luxury apartments, which all have balconies, high-end finishes and spacious layouts (air-conditioning too). Private residences can be furnished as an additional option if required. With the promenade for morning and evening walks (and runs) and a host of cafes that welcome pets, Sea Point is an animal-friendly neighbourhood, and residents will be happy to note that small pets are welcome at Mont Reve (one or two depending on the size of the apartment).
