The Conservatory Restaurant at The Cellars-Hohenort: A Serene Garden Setting

Cellars Hohenort Conservatory

An oasis of forest tranquillity among the camphor trees.

The magnificent gardens and woodlands at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel are very much part of the appeal of this Constantia grande dame. It’s always been a special place to take time out from city life, unwind and share memorable meals with family and friends. The Conservatory Restaurant and Terrace, with decor inspired by the nature-infused setting, immerses diners in a woodland ambience of serene dappled light and leafy freshness.

New summer menu

A new lunch and dinner menu continues The Conservatory’s commitment to seasonal local produce, simple but elevated cuisine, and beautiful presentation. Think tempura prawn laksa with rice noodles, or the outstanding aged Boland double-baked cheese soufflé with juniper-infused cheese sauce for starters. Followed by grilled Karoo lamb loin with pumpkin tart, harissa, rapini and carrots, or a traditional Cape Malay bobotie with steamed white rice, minted pea samosa, cumin roti and sambals.
