Pajamas & Jam Eatery – A Wonderful Hidden Gem in Somerset West

Though it’s tucked away in an industrial area, this veritable treasure trove is a far cry from its neighbours. Inside, old trinkets, interesting antiques, vinyls, and so much more, sourced from its in-house antique store, create a wonder-filled atmosphere. The baked treats themselves are worth the trip! And you should also try the Open Croissant: open egg-dipped croissant topped with bacon, cinnamon cream cheese, syrup and berry compote.

Pajamas and Jam must be one of the nicest discoveries of my life !!
On a recent visit from Windhoek , our daughter and son-in-law took us there.
The ambiance !!!! Open fireplaces make it perfect for cold winter days . Wonderfull antiques, and especially old books, will keep everyone fascinated for hours .
Their menu needs to be experienced , I cànnot describe it . Absolutely unique and excellent !!
The cakes are works of art , as far as both looks and ingredients go. So are the artisan breads.
I do not think I will ever go to the Cape again without visiting Pajamas and Jam !!
