The Labia Theatre: Dinner For Two + A Movie From R160

It might not have the latest supersonic surround-sound, but the Labia Cinema (dating from the 1950s) is a wonderful experience. With four screens, lots of retro touches, fantastic snacks and drinks (G&T slushies!) and a romantic fairylight-covered terrace, it’s the perfect spot to get your weekly dose of good movies, selected blockbusters and occasional documentaries. Films are screened from 11am to 8.30pm every day.
The special A meal and a movie for two from R160 to R200
Enjoy a meal at selected neighbourhood restaurants and get two tickets for a film of your choice at the Labia.
When Monday: R200 for two burgers (beef, chicken or vegetarian) at The Wolf House (includes tickets)
Tuesday: R200 for two shwarmas/falafels in pita at Sha Sha Warma (includes tickets)
Wednesday: R160 for two pizzas (takeaways only) at Diva Pizza (includes tickets)
Thursday: R200 for two pasta dishes at The Sanctuary Restaurant (includes tickets)
Sunday: R160 for two waffles at Ditto Ice Cream & Waffle House (includes tickets)
Good to know Pay the restaurant and then exchange your till slip/voucher for tickets at the Labia box office. Booking at the restaurants is recommended, as this is a popular deal.
