Hidden upstairs in a Salt River factory building (the entrance is an unobtrusive door on a side street), is a light and bright industrial-style pub restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows looking towards Devil’s Peak – appropriate for the original home of Devil’s Peak Brewing Company where they still serve the whole range on tap, along with a few rotating guest brews. It has become a favourite after-hours drinking spot for those who work in the city and Woodstock area. The casual pub menu ranges from pizzas to nachos and tacos and, of course, their signature burgers – all of which are on special all day on Monday. Whether you choose a double cheese, bone-marrow, vegan or veggie burger, be sure to wash it down with a lager or two.
