The 4 Best Strawberry-Picking Farms in the Cape

The 4 Best Strawberry-Picking Farms in the Cape @windy_maqasho

Grab a basket and fill it to the brim with a fresh crop of superfood!

How lucky are we to have access to a crop of beautiful farms in and around our city (and slightly further afield) where we can go strawberry-picking to our heart’s content? There’s nothing quite like strolling through fruit fields with friends, and filling baskets with fresh and delicious produce, while your little ones roam free.

Strawberry-picking season in the Cape happens every year between October and December, with Stellenbosch being the number one destination. There’s also a strawberry farm in George, where an annual festival is held in September each year to honour the rose-hued berries. Here’s where we love to go strawberry picking in the Cape.
