Enjoy an Electric-Bike Wine-Tasting Adventure in Stellenbosch

A guided bike ride and wine-tasting adventure through lush vineyards on an electric bike.

Exploring Stellenbosch by bike offers a level of immersion that travelling by car simply cannot. And when the bike is powered by an electric motor, cycling becomes so effortless that you end up getting the best of both worlds: fresh air, a bit of exercise (without overexerting yourself), plus you can take in the spectacular vineyard and mountain views.

There are two E-Bike tours available: both accompanied by a guide who ensures your safety and maximum enjoyment.

Banhoek E-Bike tour

The tour starts off at Banhoek Lodge, and takes you along a peaceful farm road and through a beautiful valley surrounded by the majestic Drakenstein Mountains. Along the way, you’ll stop at three wine farms (Thelema, Zorgvliet Wine Estate and Oldenburg Vineyards), where you’ll enjoy wine-tasting with canapés. You’ll then return to Banhoek Lodge for a final wine-tasting.
Operating times Tuesdays – Saturdays, 9am & 1.30pm
Cost R850 (adults); R350 (children, 3 – 9 years)
