A Helicopter Ride + Gin-Tasting on a Mountainside in Scarborough

Gin Tasting Helicopter Ride

The ultimate G&T experience.

Take drinks with a view to a new level of fabulousness… a 15-minute helicopter ride whisks you from the bustling V&A Waterfront to an away-from-it-all mountainside viewpoint in a private nature reserve near Scarborough, where the scents of fynbos infuse the experience with an extra layer of wild romance.

A bar in a box

Helicopter Experience Six Dogs Gin

Within moments of your helicopter alighting on its eco-sensitive helipad in the Baskloof Private Fynbos Nature Reserve above Misty Cliffs, while you are still drinking in the mountain landscape and Atlantic Ocean views, your pilot sets up the bar. An old-school, safari-style, folding wooden box, it’s stocked with a selection of meticulously crafted Six Dogs gins (distilled in a copper still on the fringes of the Karoo and infused with indigenous botanicals). Pouring the perfect G&T, perhaps with a twist of fynbos, transforms this pristine mountainside into the ultimate spot for exclusive sipping pleasure – not another soul in sight.
