Explore a wonder-filled world with virtual companions.
This state-of-the-art edutainment centre on Hazendal Estate is the perfect outing for school holidays – especially in winter. When the weather puts a dampener on having fun, Wonderdal is always bright and beautiful, allowing children between the ages of five and 13 years to play, learn and build lifeskills in a safe, supervised environment.
And because fun times are best when they’re shared with someone, you’ll get 50% off the ticket price for a second child (offer valid from 5 to 15 July 2022)!
The world of Wonderdal
Not just a playground, but an exercise in immersive fantasy, Wonderdal is designed to make children feel part of a story. As they explore, they will be accompanied by the Amuki, the virtual inhabitants of Wonderdal. They can only be seen and interacted with if you’re wearing a special magical bracelet – and they love to pop up unexpectedly from their secret corners.
These friendly, quirky creatures will guide children through the experience, giving them tips on how to complete the various activities and tasks. The seven wonders of Wonderdal include:
- Kora, the Tree of Light Standing at the centre of Wonderdal, Kora teaches about kinetic, light and sound energy through its hand-cranking and climbing games.
- Tinker Workshop A place where children can indulge in their desire to build things, and learn about aerodynamics through the wind tunnel.
- Wonder Garden An immersive digital landscape where children can “look after” a garden and grow different plant types.
- Health Kitchen A virtual kitchen where children cook meals for their Amuki friends, learning about nutrition and skills like chopping, frying, baking and blending.
- Story Cave A place where children can relax and read or listen to stories.
- Brain Teaser Islands Dotted all around Wonderdal are stimulating games to play.
- Wildlands An untamed land on the outskirts of Kora’s realm, and the perfect place for children to unleash their boundless energy through various physical activities.
WonderPals
In addition to the digital Amuki, children have the company of real-world denizens, in the form of the WonderPals, trained supervisors there to ensure your little ones are well looked after and get the most out of the activities. This means that parents who wish to enjoy the other attractions at Hazendal can drop off their children, assured that they’re in good hands.
