Origin Home Barista Course: Learn to Brew the Perfect Cup of Java

Origin Coffee Roasters’ was one of the original companies involved in kickstarting the “coffee movement” in SA some years ago. Its skilled baristas have perfected the fine art of making a good cup of coffee thanks to the rigorous training programme they undergo. Now, you too, can enlist in one of these short courses to learn what goes into making that perfect cup of joe.
Alternative Brewing Course
This is the right course for those wanting to get the most out of their daily coffee ritual. Topics covered include coffee theory, a roasting demonstration, a brewing demonstration of the alternative brew methods, and an espresso tasting. The course takes place one Saturday a month, behind the impressive coffee bar at Origin HQ in Hudson Street, and costs R650 for 3 hours.
