Arriving at Quoin Rock is like stepping into a more beautiful reality. Manicured gardens, stunning sculptures, superb craftsmanship in every detail of the design, decor and architecture, whether you’re visiting Gåte (the signature fine-dining restaurant), the expansive terrace and function venue, or for a gourmet al fresco picnic. All set in the charming, secluded Knorhoek valley with views to the Simonsberg mountain.
Equal amounts of care, expertise and passion have gone into the wine ranges produced by the Stellenbosch estate, which has attracted a loyal following of connoisseurs who appreciate the finer things in life. Now they are also finding a home from home in the QClub, the estate’s inclusive wine club.
A sense of place
The estate produces two ranges: the flagship Quoin Rock and Knorhoek, from heritage vineyards Their Stellenbosch vineyards are perfectly suited to shiraz and cabernet sauvignon grapes, while their remote Cape Agulhas farm has cool-climate vineyards that produce delicious sauvignon blanc and chardonnay. The winemaker and viticulturist are dedicated to maintaining the unique terroir of these vineyards, transforming the grapes into a splendid bouquet of award-winning reds, whites, rosé and cap classique that truly express their origin and a sense of place.
Quoin Rock Wine Club
All you need to join QClub is an appreciation and love for the sophisticated world that Quoin Rock represents. There are no fees or minimum spends. Members collect Quoins (loyalty points) with every online order of wine. These can be redeemed against future purchases of wine, or perhaps a gourmet picnic, dinner or one-off experience. Starting at points worth 5% of your order, these scale up according to your tier of membership. So as you progress through Emerald and Ruby to Diamond tier, you earn more Quoins and access to special members-only events.
