The Best V&A Waterfront Boat Trips + Cruises

The Best V&A Waterfront Boat Trips + Cruises

Sunset cruises, harbour tours and bubbly on boats – it’s time to set sail…

What started as a single jetty, built by Jan van Riebeeck in the 1650s as a refreshment station for weary travellers, the V&A Waterfront is now home to one of the most-well-trodden shopping centres in Africa, as well as a bustling marina where cruise ships, yachts, catamarans and boats dock, before whisking visitors off on the boat trip of their dreams.

Whether you’re after a sunset cruise on a luxury yacht, an educational tour of the harbour, or a festive boat trip with a live DJ, the Waterfront has a cruise just for you!

As always, if you know of a wonderful boat trip you believe deserves to be on our list, please let us know in the comments below.

Hi Ntebaleng, thanks for your message. the Captain’s Choice Lunch Cruise includes lunch after the cruise at MAReSOL restaurant, alternatively, the Champagne Cruise of the Atlantic Seaboard is a lovely option but doesn’t include a meal onboard or after the cruise, however, it does have a cash bar and includes a glass of bubbly. Enjoy!
